| Hello, Are you considering getting braces from an orthodontics dentist or orthodontist in the greater Toronto area? If you are, then you are probably looking to have your teeth straightened and/or to get your jaw or bite properly aligned. Most people wanting to have braces want straighter teeth. But do you know just how important it is to have a really nice smile? Most people don't! Your Teeth And Smile Are Either The First Or Second Aspect Others Notice About You! So now, when you realize all of this the big question many people have is... "Which Orthodontics Dentist or Orthodontist Do I Trust When I Am Considering Getting Braces?" *Click HERE For Your FREE Orthodontics Orthodontist Braces Report on "How To Choose" and also learn more about how teeth straightening can improve your personal and business relationships and much more* To begin, here are four important factors to consider when making your decision: 1. How long has the professional been practicing 2. Does the professional have any type of focus on the jaw and bite in addition to just dealing with teeth 3. How comfortable are you wth the professional 4. What types of braces are offered Dr. Goodfellow's Expertise For me personally, it is very important to know that Dr. Goodfellow in the Toronto area has been a dentist since 1978. That type of experience is important. Even more relevant to me though is that since 1999 Dr. Goodfellow has invested thousands of hours in training related to the jaw and bite. This was to deepen his understanding with respect to patients that need any type of help that may involve the jaw and bite. This includes those with TMJ pain, snoring or sleep apnea problems and, of course, those looking for braces. You see, braces may not just invlove the teeth. The jaw and bite can be big issues to consider as well. I feel very comforable in dealing with Dr. Goodfellow and that is why I recommend him so highly. Soon I will have a video of him posted here so you can get a better insight into his expertise before you even call his office. In the meantime, here is a "before and after photo" of a 11 year old patient of Dr. Goodfellow named Samantha. The photos above are of actual work done by Dr. Goodfellow. Make sure the photos a professional shows you are of work he or she has actually performed and not just photos of anotherprofessionals work that have simply been purchased. Different Types Of Braces To Consider 1. Traditional Metal Braces Metal braces are the standard type of braces most people are familiar with. When you get this type of braces you will have metla brackets fixed to the front of your teeth. A metal wire will be used together with these brackets to adjust the positioning of your teeth 2. Clear Ceraminc Braces Advancements in dentistry have resulted in ceramics that are close to being the natural colour of teeth. The brackets are still placed on the front of the teeth but at least they are not nearly as visible as the metal ones 3. Invisible Braces For those people wanting the benefits from having braces while also having them be as invisible as possible, perhaps the best way to accomplish this is with what is referred to as "lingual" braces. Quite simply, the brackets are placed on the back side of the teeth so, essentially, they are invisible to others. Getting A Proper Diagnosis To gain access to Dr. Goodfellows' more than 30 years of total experience and over 10 years of study with the jaw and bite in particular, simply call his office for an Initial Braces Assessment or second opinion at 1-866-760-0371.
